Putting away the k's

So the team had a great weekend out on the road bikes this long weekend just gone. Any hill in the vicinity of Melbourne got a go, it seemed. From down the coast towards Portsea, to out east beyond the Dandenongs to as far north as the Kinglake area, Felt Racing had road bikes in all directions.

Jack gave his F55 its first real run on the open road, and this is what he had to say about it:-

"I've had a pretty good weekend of riding, Saturday was my first 100km+ ride with Jason out to King Lake. There must be something wrong with me because there where a few times where the temp was down to 1 degree and the fog was thick enough to make water drip off my helmet and bike! Lucky for me I got some knee warmers the day before."

"The bike was really good though, it felt nice and stable at speed, I got up to about 75km/h and felt like it had more in it but on my first decent ride I didn't really feel like pushing it. When it was pointed up a hill it climbed really well, I'll just have to wait for my legs to catch up"

The F55 has also had the full GV RaceTech treatment to hopefully ensure years of trouble free running, with cables being cut and crossed, BB re-centered in the frame, headset greased and adjusted and other ancillary things that go with a new bike.

So hopefully the weather will stay settled, still, and without precipitation, and we can get out amongst it more! More info and pics can be found on Ash's blog too.

Thank for your time, out!
