News from abroad.
I thought it was worth getting a mention on here, as he is a Felt boy also, but Seamus McGrath has got a new ride!!! As I'm sure many of you have seen, the Trans Rockies race has been run and won last week, and when I say won I mean it. Seamus McGrath paired up with Andreas Hestler to win the overall event by 2.45 but thats not the great part for us. The awesome part is that he was riding a 'prototype' Equilink Virtue 1 and it obviously worked a treat!! So here's hoping it gets here real soon for us all to get our hands on!! For a bike to come out and be part of winning the amazingly challenging TransRockies in its first year, although not to be released until Interbike (Boo!!) speaks volumes about its capabilities!
In Felt Racing news, there is talk of Jason running solo for the upcoming Castlemaine 6 hour this weekend, with his partner Paul VanDerPloeg givin 'er over in Rotoroota at the worlds.
If you see Jason around, be sure to give him a pat on the back for giving the solo thing a run!! (although I'm not sure that he's completely on top of the idea) You'll be seeing Jack and myself rolling around dueling with the Specialized boys we expect. The two team tents should be close to one another, so swing by to see the off track rubbishing taking place live!
Thursday night, race night tommorrow- looks like it could be a dry one!! The points for the series are wide open again, and there is going to be some furious maths and racing taking place for me to get back into position, and for Jack to hold on to the lead. Stand by!
