Wind vests are the greatest!
First of all, apologies for not having posted much recently, but we've all been too busy getting our bad riding out of the way!
I neglected to post anything after last weeks dirt crit, so I can happily inform you that Jack kept it upright (something we are keeping tabs on currently after a few bingles) although he didn't race, needing time to let some little scrapes heal up in peace. I got out the front early, and was never headed, although a cheeky monkey at the start finsih almost sent us all out on more laps than needed...! So another win does my points some favours in the series, so we shall keep tapping away at the crits and see how we go And this week will be the last race with lights on too, so thats very exciting!!
On sunday, Jason and I got out for a ride in the hills with John Claxton, and beat ourselves up and down dale for a few hours, in the lovely beaming sun! That was a lovely way to spend the morning, seeing the awesome view from the hills over Melbourne and its surrounds. The not so nice bit was the first climb up onto the hill, but on a sunday morning, sometimes you need to suffer for the cause!
Next race for us is the Gravity 12 hour in Rosewhite, which should be great- Paulies home race, and an awesome course to boot!!
