Paul wins Nationals at Stromlo

Today it is official. Felt Racings' Paul Van Der Ploeg has taken out the U/19 mens Cross Country national title for 2006/7 with a dominant performance at Mt Stromlo in Canberra over the weekend. This continues his clean sweep of the National Series, as he dispenses with all comers, and his times for his laps are putting him conservatively in the top 10 Elite men. Aboard his Ultra lite Felt RXC pro, he raced around the 4 lap course in an amazing 1.30hr, taking the win by over a minute from Nathan Haas, and he tightened his hold on the #1 plate a little more!
