Enduro Bearings Arrive!

Santa seems to like us here at Felt HQ. He delivered a parcel from DIYMTB.COM.AU this morning for the Felt Enduro Team in the form of bearings, lots of ultra high quality, light and sexy bearings. The difference in the weight is the 1st thing you notice, picking up a box of 100 bearings gives the impression that the box is in fact, empty. The other difference is the hardness and shape of the bearings, which of course wont be felt until the bearings are installed and ridden. The red bottom bracket cups will look especially pretty on the Virtue Team's as will the red ceramic jockey wheels on the rear derailleur's. Full reports anbd pictures of the swap over will follow in the coming weeks as the build up to the HDATO continues.

So no more replacing bearings after each Knobbysports crit then? :)

I look forward to seeing these - current BBs rarely last 6 months, POS designs :/

zero,
the BB's will still be in cups making them very hard to see, the last BB i had the left bearing died one month before i put it in and the right lasted thirteen months and three days so mine averaged more than six months, that extra three day i guess was just luck.
POS designs, guess that could be a niche for you, ZBB zero bottom brackets zbbs pronounced "zuebbbbbs" catchy name cool product, we've been through internal and external, the next logical progression is to weld the axle solid and make the bearing internal inside the crank.
anyway i look forward to the Mk 1 Zuebbb in late 2008
Peace Out
