Who Stole My Equilink?
I picked a new training bike this week. An RXC Team hardtail.
This bike will save some wear and tear on the Virtue Team bike which will be raced at the Enduros this year and also see some action in some of the many crits which are held around Melbourne.
The first ride was a couple of hours spent on the local Yarra trails with some of the pink fairies from one of our opposition teams. one of the first things I noticed about this bike was the weight(or lack of), it seems to accelerate out of corners with ease and when the going gets rough the Reba forks and carbon seat stays seem to do a good job of not shaking my teeth out like some hardtails can do. The Sram XO trigger shifters and rear derailleur round out a well speced XC race bike.
The ride on the week end was interrupted soon after the start when one rider did this...
Of course he was just riding along and all of a sudden... After standing/junping on the wheel for a bit it was straight enough to turn and we were lucky enough to be able to borrow a wheel from a well known local rider and continued our ride.
The current stable in order of increasing suspension travel.

Does this mean you will start beating Randall?
Hey Jack,
I think it's time you hit up the sponsors for a chain for the Virtue... must climb like a sack of sh!t without one!
Yes, you are a nerd. But well done for noticing, I was wondering if someone would. It doesn't even need derailleur because the new ceramic bearings are just so fast!
