You know you're training when...
...your coach has you riding from Mt Beauty to Mt. Buffalo and back twice in five days.
It may be obvious to most that I have been incredibly slack with updating my personal blog, so I have decided that I will no longer post on it and I will enhance the team blog with random and unusual posts from the Kiewa Valley, this should make a more interesting and hopefully very frequently updated blog. On the other hand this enthusiasm could die as quickly as it has arisen.
Since the national round up in our next of the woods I have gone from one extreme to the other. It started with a two week break with very little riding. Then came the HDATO followed by a trip to Tassie for training that kick started my training back into overdrive with a attempt to get some K's into the legs for the much anticipated trip overseas at the end of March. So the F2 carbon full Dura-ace road bike has been tearing my legs off, and I've been trying to climb at the same speed as it demands! So naturally I'm pretty smashed. Also the new Echowell ECR 2 dual wireless bike computer/Laptop has been feeding me all the info I would ever need while I ride alone in the Mountains. If your in the market for a bike computer check this bad boy out. I love the fact that I know how hot/cold it is at any time while riding in our crazy climate. Like the other day I headed out and the temp read 2 degrees and I was just staring it down, hoping it would slowly tick up so I could start to defrost my ears. But then today it was 35, that's how mother nature rolls I suppose.
Catch you all at Mt. Beauty for the Six hour and its not to late to enter so DO IT! The course rocks and there isn't to much climbing for Beauty standards. I'm serious ENTER NOW.
Thanks for reading,
Paul
