Felt (Paul) Update
Paul was racing again over the weekend, this time in the Scottish highlands. Unfortunately for the young fella luck was not on his side and he punctured a tyre early on and had to work his way through the field. Other than the mechanical/luck side of the equation it seems like Paul is set for a big race in Italy later this month. Smash it Paul!

Punctured early? You mean punctured early... and later... and then again... right? :)
When was the last international race Paul didn't break something or have a mechanical? :P
Doing well though all things considered.
Well Im glad you think he is doing well....
thats harsh. Have you seen how big his bike is??? must be hard to pilot a barn door through singletrack....
im pretty sure that guy is taking a shot at Zero, not Paulie
Zero, you are a complete tool
Play nice children.
'Mechanicals' are a part of racing at a high level.
Paul is a gun and will have a much better race at the Worlds when he doesnt have to pass 50 elite guys in the 1st couple of laps.....
Hey Zero - When was your last international race?
Smilies on the end of your sentences don't make you sound like any less of a pretencious tool with an over inflated opinion of self, or bode well for your "sponsorship"
Paul is without a doubt one of the good guys of MTB and one of the better liked, tongue in cheek or not, I doubt your comments are appreciated at all.
Sorry Jarrod, I know you said play nice, but this has fair annoyed me. I am sure Paul is feeling less than pleased with his recent luck.
Here's hoping it's all behind 'im and he has a cracker of a race in Italy.
Zero - less bike nerdyness, more good guyiness.
Woah, have you guys misinterpreted what I've said. Whether deliberately or otherwise is completely irrelevant.
Anyone who's followed Pauls races over in Europe this year knows that he's either had terrible mechanical trouble this season, or great results. I certainly know that (hence my comment), any time he's been able to run a clean race, he's been as far up the results as any of us would expect, often better. Seems some other trolls here don't, or just chose to ignore that.
A side point to make of course is that at least I had the respect to put my name to my comments.
I stand by my comment - he's doing a great job over there. You guys can stand by and whinge about the way that's said all you want in the meantime.
