Beaconsfield 6 hour
With an ailing computer, and a need to get to work in the real world this morning, this initial report will be brief, however most of the feel of the event, is covered in the little video we've made.
So, Beaconsfield 6 hour 2007. Run and won, and by Felt Racing once again. Whilst a team of 3 attracted some ridicule, there was no hiding once out on course, and the racing was on! With a minor glitch during Jack's warmup of a chain parting company with its joining link (ever heard of that happening?!!?) Jack tore apart the course for the first lap, only being pipped by solo riders Claxton and Spink (Giant) after having to stop to retrieve a pump that he had dropped.
Paul made short work of the deficit handed to him, in fact in less than a 3rd of the lap, he had caught, passed and put in the same gap to the two other riders, and that was pretty well our race. We didn't have any major dramas or incidents after that, with the exception of an exploding housing ...
But that was easily rectified by GVRaceTech, who once again prepped our bikes within an inch of their lives, and allowed us to simply get out on course and do what we train for, and that is go as hard as we can! The laughs started at about 8am yesterday, and only really stopped when we got home last night, and I heard similar reports from other teams as well, so the vibes were really good at the race all day. Paulie and Jack were in fine form, and it was common to have both resting riders leaning over the tape 'supporting' as you rode past, or offering you a hotdog...

you should give yourself more credit, vid was good...well until the last two minutes of black.
ps. stop winning.
I just couldn't get my system to cut 2 mins of audio, it was just too much for it. It crashed at least 15 times whilst I tried to do just that. It was killing me!
Glad you enjoy it at any rate.
cheers.
