No racing this weekend gave the members of Felt Racing a chance to do some training instead of smashing ourselves silly riding in circles.
Saturday Ash was causing some discomfort with the pace setting during the weekly hell ride according to solo crazy man John Claxton who had to chase onto the back of the pack. Sunday was the day for a ride in the hills. Leaving home at 5:30 with Rohin and Ben "Hired Gun" Randall was a new experience. We picked up John and Jason on our way to the Dandenongs to have a play in the hills. We even got a chance to entertain some of the locals in Ringwood who were heading home as we waited for Jason.

So into the hills we went where we spent the next few hours trying to keep up with the Brickman, who by the way had already done about 9 hours in the hills the day before. Things are looking good for the world champs in a few months.
After the ordinary Melbourne weather on Saturday, we were lucky which made for a great ride. 150km and quite a bit of climbing should do some good later in the year.
Next weekend is the 6 hour enduro at Castlemaine which is sure to be a great race. Felt Racing will be there in a team of 3 with Ash and Jack along with Paul, who is sure to show up just in time.
