As most readers of this know, Victorian legends (and current Aus 24hr champ) Andy Bell and John Claxton are both part of the Australian contingent heading for the 24hr Solo Worlds in only a few weeks. Whilst wandering through cyclingnews.com I noticed that Lance of the Dirt, Chris Eatough has decided against competing, instead chosing to run one of the 100mile races being made so popular in the states. It would be pretty cool to get over there and be able to hand the 6 time world champion his ass, but at the same time, you have to be in it to win it. I'm sure this won't in any way detract from the race, it seems like there are plenty of other amazing riders ready to step up, so we wish the boys and girls from Australia the best of luck.

I don't know the history behind this, but couldn't we all ask why the Pink boys don't ride FGP crits or last year's KONA and why the regular FELT boys don't ride the FTF XC races...

That's easy, the pink boys are scared of the dark (they do wear pink after all) and we like to have a rest after each lap.

Paul is the XC specialist, and you will see some of us at XC races occasionally.

I have also noticed the pink boys don't like to chit chat with other boys out on the circuit...whereas Paul is always friendly when asking to pass without even sounding short of breath!

I'm just quietly hoping for Matt L. to win his first A grade crit after lots of 2nds :)

does that mean that anonymous gets lapped? I've been told that the pink boys are polite to sport A and above. I have also been told that the reason none of the felt boys ever sound short of breath is because they talk out of the arse, thereby bypassing the lungs. Because of this metabolic stress has no bearing on speech pattern.
