How's that penny saving going??

Exciting time folks, down here at Felt Racing. Turns out the brand spanking new Virtue Teams are off the boat and in the warehouse!! And they are looking mighty fine let me tell you. The rear ends have copped a minor redesign at the rear dropout, and aside from that, the frame remains basically unchanged. The spec (international spec, may be slightly different in Oz) of the bike has changed in a few different ways, Rock Shox Revelations now grace the front of the bike, and the wheelset has swung to the Shimano XTR wheels so it will be interesting to see how they stack up over the season.

And so that means that the Team bikes of 07 will be prepared for sale over the next month. The price is being determined, but there will be at least 1 x 17.5 1 x 19.5 and 1x 21.5 Virtue 1's for sale. The complete spec and such will be available shortly, but its pretty much stock so be ready to snap up a bargain. Any questions can be left in the comments section and Jack or myself will be able to answer it.

So with the new bikes, come talk of the new season. Felt Racing 2007 was always winding up its season with the FGP 24 at Forrest, and it seems that there will be more wrapping up than just the team for the season. Jason and myself have both chosen to step aside at the culmination of the season, opening the door for some fresh blood to step up to the plate. That will mean that there will be 2 new riders next year, with Jack and Paul both opting to stay on and continue Felt Racing's winning ways. Nothing else will be changing in regards to the team, other than the riders, whilst Ash pursues new projects in the riding world, and Jason has more time to commit to the other team in his life, his family.

So on that little bombshell, I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who have wished us well over the past few days as this decision has been coming to a head. You can rest assured that Felt Racing will continue to provide dubious entertainment on the interweb, and plenty of laughs out on the racecourse, and we would also like to thank Southcott for their support and understanding at all times.

Roll on Kona24!
