Felt TK1 World Record Holder

Once again, not quite Enduro Team related but it's Felt related which is good enough for me.

American Taylor Phinney, has broken the 3000-meter individual pursuit world junior record with a time of 3:16.589 on his new Felt TK1. The carbon track bike is a big evolutionary step from the alloy TK2 with its aero dynamic credentials coming from hundreds of hours of wind tunnel testing. Look out for the bike (and the riders of course) in 2 months time at the Olympics.

GMBC Winter Series:
This Sunday 22nd June the GMBC Winter Series starts at the You Yangs. Featuring a time trial, a criterium and a full length race it has a little of everything for everybody. Having ridden at the You Yangs last week I have to say that GMBC does an excellent job building and maintaining the trails. Support a club that supports the MTB scene, rock up a have a go.
Felt rider and all around good guy, Scott Liston, will be there punching out the laps. With luck there will be some other Felt representation there to document and perhaps even participate at some level. Should be interesting.
